Big hunger. Little effort.

For the quickest route to a warm plate. Take the meat out of the sealed inner bag and let the microwave do the heavy lifting.

  1. Open the box, then open the inner bag and transfer the meat and sauce to a microwave-safe dish. Spread it evenly and cover with a vented microwave-safe lid.
  2. Heat for 2 minutes, then stir the sauce and turn or separate the meat pieces.
  3. Continue in 30-second intervals until the meat reaches 165°F throughout.
  4. Let it stand, covered, for 1 minute before serving. Watch out for hot steam when lifting the lid.
Meat out. Dish in.

Remove the outer box. Do not microwave the inner bag unless its label specifically permits it. Lower-powered microwaves may need longer.

A little sizzle. A lot of dinner.

For those who like to give dinner a stir. Gentle heat warms the sauce and meat together without rushing the good stuff.

  1. Open the box, then open the inner bag and add the meat and sauce to a pan.
  2. Warm over medium-low heat, stirring the sauce and turning the meat regularly.
  3. Add a small splash of water if the sauce thickens too much or starts sticking. Cover between stirs to help larger pieces heat evenly.
  4. Serve once the meat reaches 165°F throughout.
Easy on the heat.

The meat is already cooked. A very hot pan can dry out the outside before the center is hot. Heat only the amount you plan to eat.

Keep it cool. Keep dinner sorted.

Unpack your delivery promptly and move your boxes straight to the fridge or freezer. Then let your dinner plans decide where they stay.

A little leftover know-how: Refrigerate unused meat promptly in a clean, sealed container. Use within 3–4 days, or sooner if the original refrigerated deadline comes first. Opening or reheating does not restart the clock. Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours, or within 1 hour when the surrounding temperature is above 90°F.
